Plasma and HVOF coatings are produced by the combination of thermal, electrical and kinetic energy and are specified for wear and corrosion resistance for life extension of jet engine, landing gear and structural components. PLASMA produces hard, corrosion resistant ceramic and abradable coatings. HP HVOF produces hard wear resistant tungsten and chromium carbides.
High Power laser Deposition High power fibre diode laser deposition produces coatings with low heat input resulting in minimal dilution and metallurgical bonding to the substrate. Refined grain structures are evident and the as deposited laser coatings minimize post machining. Brenco lasers range from 6 to 12.
Sermetel and Alseal are high performance coatings consisting of organic and inorganic pigments dispersed in unique binder systems containing metallic, ceramic, nitrides and metal fibers and provide:

Heat treatment & plating. Heat Treating – capacity 2.4metres x 2.4metres x 1.5 metres deep to 900ºC. Finishing – Zinc phosphate
Grinding & machining. Machining to 5 metres between centres
Cylindrical grinding to 4 metres between centres x 600 mm swing. Milling, vertical boring and surface grinding.
Brenco Aerospace utilise Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) systems with staff who are CASA approved welders on the following metal classes.
